Shamrock SHIELD Fund
Shamrocks Helping Individuals Endure Life's Difficulties
Emergency assistance financial help
Life can change in an instant. Whether it is a medical crisis, a job loss, or a tragic accident, unexpected obstacles can derail even the most diligent. The SHIELD Fund was created to ensure that no Shamrock has to walk through their darkest hours alone, providing support.
Who Can Apply
Assistance is available to any verified Detroit Catholic Central High School alumnus or their immediate family. Applications are reviewed by an independent committee of alumni volunteers who assess each request based on urgency.
How It Works
- Inquiry: Contact the foundation or submit a secure online application.
- Review: Our committee performs a confidential verification of the hardship.
- Approval: Within 48-72 hours, a decision is made regarding fund allocation.
- Support: Funds are provided directly to service providers.
